Start Your Day Right

Live a long and happy life full of vitality by starting your day with the right fuel for your mind and your body.

Set aside some time every morning before breakfast for some exercise and meditation. It takes less than 15 minutes immediately after waking, do perform the Tibetan 5 Rites exercise as outlined in our Dec/2002 News anti-aging-news.com/5rites.htm.

These physical stretches are a good precursor to sitting and meditating for at least 20 minutes. Obviously there are many types of meditation but all act to quiet the mind and allow brain wave activity to move through to alpha, to theta and delta states.

Over the last year we have been using a powerful (but absolutely safe) audio technology that speeds up the meditative process.

By sitting and meditating with holosync technology for 30 minutes to 1 hour per day, you can...virtually eliminate stress from your life... naturally and safely stimulate the production of brain chemicals that dramatically slow aging and increase longevity...boost your mental powers to unheard of levels...and resolve forever most so-called "dysfunctional" feelings and behaviors, please read on, CLICK HERE.

After exercise and meditation you should be ready for breakfast. What would you like? That's an easy enough question to answer.

But here's a breakfast question that millions of people answer incorrectly every morning: What kind of breakfast delivers the healthiest nutrition?

According to nutritionist Dr. Eric Berg, D.C., C.R.A., When you eat more protein for breakfast, you'll find not only an improvement in energy but also in mental clarity. Depression and anxiety are two other conditions that can be diminished or eliminated with a good solid protein breakfast.

I have been experimenting with many combinations over the years and have come up with the following combination of liquid Protein powered Breakfast after my exercises because its fast and efficient. I choose 12 oz of pure or natural water, 1 raw organic egg, and 10-20 grams of Immunocal/HMS90 undenatured Whey Protein Isolate ( undenatured means it hasn't been destroyed by heat like most other protein powders). To balance the pH, I also include about 10-20 grams of a pure greens powder. Their are many good options at the health food store. Why not purchase some protein powder (made from whey or soy beans) and try mixing your own morning shake for a week or two, and determine for yourself if it gives you more energy through the day?

The raw egg white and the HMS/90 Undenatured Whey Protein Isolate deliver Glutathione to your cells. Glutathione is the bodies undisputed master antioxidant. For more info on Glutathione and Immunocal/HMS90, follow this link.

If you have the time and enjoy a sit down breakfast take heed of what William Campbell Douglass, M.D suggests. He recommends foods that will "get you off to a stable start, free of violent fluctuations in blood sugar," such as eggs, bacon, medium rare beef, poached fish, and unhomogenized dairy products (including cheese). If you want something sweet, he says that fresh, whole fruit is fine, but not fruit juice or canned fruit.

This "menu" is quite similar to another list of breakfast foods suggested by Eric Berg, D.C., C.R.A.
After reviewing thousands of his clients' diets, Dr. Berg identified one common denominator in patients suffering from fatigue: They "either eat nothing for breakfast, or they eat carbohydrates in the form of toast, bagels, cereals, or a bran muffin."

Here are some of the items on Dr. Berg's preferred breakfast menu: eggs, peanut butter, cream cheese, cheese, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, raw nuts, tahini butter, hamburger patty (no bun), pork chop, steak, ham, bacon, fish, and sausage.

And to those he adds these carbohydrates that are acceptable when taken in moderation with the above proteins: fruit in the cottage cheese, sprouted grain (Ezekiel or Silver Hills bread ) with peanut butter or cream cheese, berries with plain yogurt, cheese and eggs, celery with peanut butter, and steel cut oatmeal.

And what about your mind?
When you wake up what do you think of first?
Good morning God : )

or Good God Morning : (

Be grateful to get another chance to live your life!
Remember who designed your life. Take time out to think of ways to improve your life. Put a master mind group together and plan a project that will make a positive difference for all concerned. Make it profitable if you need income. Then happily get to work on it.

I recently picked a new primary care physician.

After two visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said I was doing "fairly well for my age".

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, "Do you think I'll live to be 80?"

He asked,"Well, do you smoke tobacco or drink beer/wine?"

"Oh no," I replied. "I've never done either."

Then he asked, "Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?"

I said "No, I've heard that all red meat is very unhealthy!"

"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing
golf/sailing/ballooning/rock climbing ?"

"No, I don't," I said.

He said, "Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or sexually fool around?"

"No," I said. "I've never done any of those things."

He looked at me and said, "Then why the H do you care if you live to be 80?"
